| Type five, one-page papers on different artists. Each page must be on an artist from the 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. Discuss their general style, biographical history, influences, and personal response. Books must be referenced with title. Papers are due the first day we are back in January. Write it in your own words. 100 points. |

| Groups of six students will make class presentations on 1) The Art of India, chapter fourteen 2) The Art of China and Korea, chapter fifteen 3) The Art of Japan, chapter sixteen 4) The Native Arts of the Americas and of Oceania, chapter seventeen 5) The Arts of Africa, chapter eighteen. Groups will lecture to the class in one period the basic components of the chapter. Give me your slide list and I will make Xeroxes for students along with other pertinent handouts. A minimum of twelve slides is needed for your presentation. Consult with me for use before your presentation. Presentations will begin the week we come back from Christmas break. 50 points. |
